on:africa is a thematically-driven web-based portal for the exchange of high-quality research, creativity and multi-media expressions relating to Africa.

We are always looking for contributions for up-coming editions and up-coming themes. For further information and communication relating to contributions or anything else head over to our ‘get in touch’ page.

Contributions can also be made for themes released in the past. However, contributors should be aware that since the content of the website is organised thematically, their work may not appear as prominently during a month during which a different theme is featured.

Since our long-term vision for on:africa is to produce a multi-media site, photos, videos, sounds and pretty much any other format is welcome. If themes are not your thing, or you have another idea that we haven’t mentioned, then there’s also room for independent pieces. Either way, feel free to ‘get in touch’ and we can talk about the potential for further involvement.
