The theme for the inaugural edition of on:africa is birth
birth: birth, pregnancy and healthcare (the obvious). growth, beginning one era and ending another, regeneration and starting over; all things which Africa has done time and again, whether it is in people leaving or arriving, or during times of independence and upheaval. but also the new names, new flags, new languages, new countries, new mergers and the new faces that all created and continue to create the Africa we know today.
The deadline for the birth theme is: Friday 1 July.
